Account Manager
Who are you guys?
We’re a team of people working in Dubai creating some of the best real estate software on the internet. We work out of our head office in Al Quoz, Dubai, with a second development office in Pakistan.
What will I be working on?
You’ll be working with many real estate companies throughout the UAE and GCC, some big, some small. Initially, you’ll spend a lot of time learning about our software, but within 2 months most of your time will be spent following up and pursuing companies that are interested in our software. That means phone calls, in-person presentations, and writing proposals. Once you’ve signed them up, it’s a job of training their staff on how to use the software, and finishing their setup resulting in a happy client.
When you’re not presenting, you’ll be mostly catching up on what’s happening with our software, and following up with the development team to make sure everything is done for your clients.
What are the minimum requirements?
You must have some of the bare essentials; fantastic communication in English, great knowledge of the internet and how to use it, great presentation skills and good written skills. If you don’t have these, save yourself the time, and don’t apply. We’re looking for a University degree of some sort, but preferably in Business or Computer Science. Sales experience is a must, and during your interview we’re going to ask you to do presentation about yourself to us and a test of some basic computer skills. A very big plus: conversational Arabic.
How many hours will I be expected work?
We work Sunday to Thursday, 9:00AM to 6:00PM with 1 hour lunch, so 40 hours a week. The nature of your job makes this a little flexible, and from time to time you might find yourself working later meeting a client, so plan for that. Interested? Key responsibilities:
- Presentations: To Directors and General Managers of prospective clients.
- Closing: Finalising and concluding contracts with prospective clients.
- Exhibitions: Attending/Exhibiting in relevant exhibitions/shows
- Client Relations: Monitoring client relations of assigned accounts.
- Training: Conducting training of client staff when needed
- Setup: Assisting in setup of MK software and checking data in advance.
- Reporting: Weekly report to operations manager on activity.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Business or Computer Science related field.
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience.
- Valid UAE Driving license.
- Knowledge & Understanding of Real Estate market.
- Excellent English & Conversational Arabic.
